Evaporation
Air movers push air across wet surfaces, breaking the saturated boundary layer that otherwise slows evaporation to a crawl.
Dehumidification
Once moisture is in the air, it has to be removed. Without dehumidification, humid air simply deposits that moisture onto other materials in the property.
Temperature and airflow balance
Warmer air holds more moisture, but excessive heat in a closed space can drive moisture into unaffected assemblies. Balance matters more than raw power.
Dry standards
A dry standard is a target reading derived from similar unaffected materials in the same property, not a fixed number that applies everywhere.

Why equipment stays running
